What data we collect
We collect the minimum data needed to provide our service:
- Email address — provided when you sign up. Used for authentication (magic link sign-in) and deal notification emails.
- Tracked authors, series, and books — your preferences for which audiobook deals to monitor.
- Owned and dismissed books — books you've marked as owned or not interested, so we don't notify you about them.
- Deal click data — when you click through to Audible, we record the click (deal ID, timestamp, and your IP address) for analytics. We do not track your activity on Audible.
- Session cookies — essential for keeping you logged in. These are not used for tracking or advertising.
We do not collect: passwords (we use magic link auth), payment information, browsing history, or location data.

Who we share data with
- Brevo (email provider) — receives your email address to deliver transactional and notification emails. Brevo's privacy policy.
- Sentry (error tracking) — receives technical error data which may include IP addresses. Sentry's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare (CDN/security) — processes requests to our site and may set performance cookies. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google (analytics and advertising) — receives anonymous usage data via Google Analytics, and may serve ads via Google AdSense. Google's privacy policy.
We do not sell your data to anyone.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (which pages are popular, how long people stay, etc.). Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data. This data is processed by Google. We do not use it to identify individual users. You can opt out using Google's browser opt-out plugin. Google's privacy policy.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may display advertisements via Google AdSense. If enabled, Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings. How Google uses data from partner sites.
Data retention
- Account data — kept for as long as your account exists.
- Magic link tokens — expire after 15 minutes and are marked as used.
- Click data — retained for 12 months, then deleted.
- Deal data — retained indefinitely (public data scraped from Audible).
Your rights
Under GDPR/UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your data — email us and we'll provide a copy.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and all associated data — use the "Delete my account" option in your dashboard, or email us.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent — stop receiving deal emails by removing all tracked authors, or delete your account.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we've mishandled your data.
International transfers
Your data is processed on servers in the EU (OVH, France). Our email provider (Brevo) and error tracking (Sentry) may process data outside the UK/EEA under Standard Contractual Clauses.
